Hello everyone, I am glad to join the FQS network since I was honoured to speak at two Food Sure Conferences. I am a food safety enthusiast with over 20 years of work experience in leading quality assurance, laboratory, and system management positions in the food and beverage and retail sectors. Currently, my role is the director of Internal Audit for Food Safety in Fortenova Group in Croatia. The Fortenova Group is a food and beverage company with over 50,000 employees. It operates in three primary divisions: agriculture, retail and food in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia. The Internal Audit Department works according to the standards for authorized internal auditors and audits the implementation of all legal requirements and internal standards related to food safety, quality control, consumer protection and the establishment of good laboratory and production practices within our manufacturing companies and retail within our Group. I am an authorized internal auditor, a specialist in the field of economy, and an internal auditor for the management of quality systems and laboratory management systems. Also, I am an Executive Business Coach and NLP Practitioner. I like to pass on the knowledge gained over many years, so I often lecture at conferences and write articles for European food safety magazines. I look forward to being a part of your community!
