Natasha Maximchuk: Making the Invisible Visible
Making the Invisible Visible: Detecting Contamination Before It Becomes a Problem

In this episode of the FSQ Net Podcast, recorded at the Food Sure Summit in Amsterdam, FSQ Net is joined by Natasha Maximchuk, Technical Sales Lead at EIT International, to explore how new detection technologies can help food manufacturers identify contamination risks before they become costly problems.

Natasha introduces EIT International’s bacteria and biofilm detection technology, explaining how UV-based scanning can help teams identify areas of potential contamination that may otherwise go unseen and complement existing methods such as ATP swabbing.

The conversation also looks at the importance of preventative maintenance, including technologies designed to detect microscopic cracks in tanks, vessels and processing equipment. Natasha explains how identifying these issues earlier can help manufacturers reduce contamination risks, avoid unexpected downtime and better plan equipment maintenance and replacement.

They also discuss how food manufacturers are using new technology to improve hygiene standards, reduce reliance on chemicals and dyes, and ultimately make the invisible visible.
