I am writing to enquire whether anyone else has any further information available regarding the current restrictions on thermised and unpasteurised soft cheeses, which were introduced following the recent outbreak of Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) in France and Italy. Given that LSD is not considered a food safety issue, I would appreciate any updates on views on import restrictions and whether they might be reviewed or lifted.

Any guidance or anticipated timelines for the easing of these measures would be greatly appreciated.
