The FSQ Network is designed to be a collaborative space for you to share ideas with fellow professionals. There are two types of discussion the platform can host: public discussions threads which will be visible to all other community members or private conversations via the direct messaging function.

Public discussions

These are visible to all other community members, but are not visible unless you are signed in to the community. If you are not yet a member or not signed-in, these pages will appear empty.

To begin a discussion, first go to the area of the site which will be most relevant for your discussion topic, e.g. future of auditing, or simply go to the introductions and discussion space. These can be found via the homepage or using the side navigation bar.

Then click 'Create' and select 'Start a conversation'. Choose a title for your discussion and then share your question or conversation starter.

You may not see your discussion appear immediately because our community team have to moderate content which is shared to the site. Once approved, you will be notified via email. This will then be available for other members to share their replies in the thread.

To reply to someone else's thread, simply click on the discussion, scroll to the bottom and leave your reply. This will also be moderated by our team.

Private conversations

You can also message other members individually, by using the direct messaging function, located in the top navigation bar:

When you click through to private conversations, you can view active conversations or start a new conversation. You can search for up to 4 other community members to invite to the conversation. They will be notified once you have sent the message.

You can edit or delete your message at any time. This conversation will only be visible to you and those who have been invited.
